SRA has forged a reputation as being an innovative provider of business solutions and has an impressive list of Industry Awards.


2010 7th Annual Australian Mining Prospect Awards

SRA received the 'Highly Commended' award amongst a strong group of finalists in the 'Excellence in Environmental Management' category.

The awards night held in Sydney on November 11th recognised SRA's contribution to better environmental management for the Port Hedland region through the innovative use of technology.

SRA's EnviroSys was used as the engine-room for the implementation of a Realtime Dust Monitoring Website for the Port Hedland Industries Council.

2010 NT Export and Industry Awards

SRA was the winner of the Northern Territory Chief Minister's Export and Industry Awards for Emerging Exporter.  The awards celebrate the success of Northern Territory businesses that excelled in international exports through their untiring efforts, courage and innovative approach.  The Emerging Exporter category recognises outstanding export achievement by an enterprise, in any sector, that has been exporting goods or services for three years or less.

SRA was the winner of the state round of the Australian Export Awards. The win was based on the success of EnviroSys projects implemented in Singapore, New Mexico (USA) and South Africa.

SRA will now attend the National round of the awards held in Sydney in November and sponsored by Austrade.


Top 20 Innovation Awards 

SRA Information Technology won second place in the 2010 South Australian Top 20 Innovation Awards for the most outstanding innovations since the new millennium. The showcase and awards ceremony was held on 5th February 2010 at the National Wine Centre of Australia where the state's top twenty innovators were on display, including SRA's EnviroSys solution.


EICTA Gold Cup for Excellence in Engineering and Commercialisation 

SRA Information Technology won the Electronics and ICT Association's (EICTA) 2008 Gold Cup for Excellence in Engineering and Commercialisation. On October 31st 2008 SRA's EnviroSys solution, dubbed the "clever environmental software", won EICTA's top award given to a company with outstanding performance in taking an innovative idea through product development and onto global markets.


Platinum Winner NT Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Awards

SRA accepted two awards at the 2008 NT ICT Awards night held on 25th October 2008. The first award was the Exporter Award which was given to a company who is best recognised for exporting at a National & International level and the major award, the overall Platinum Winner, was awarded for an organisation's overall excellence and contribution to the ICT Industry.


Telstra Business Awards

 

SRA Information Technology won the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year and the 2007 AMP National Innovation Award.

This follows on from wins in the Northern Territory in the State-based round of the awards, where SRA won the 2007 Hudson NT Business Award (51-100 employees), the 2007 AMP NT Innovation Award, and the 2007 Telstra NT Business Award.

SRA shared the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year with gourmet food provider, Brookfarm, from New South Wales.

The 2007 AMP Australian Innovation Award was won for the EnviroSys product, which allows mining and energy businesses, along with governmental monitoring bodies and the infrastructure, water and agricultural industries to capture, monitor, alert, analyse and report on environmental aspects

Being awarded the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year validates the years of research, development and belief that the SRA team maintained over the years, and brings about a distinct confidence that SRA can be a strong international participant in the ICT world.


NT Innovation Awards

Steven Rowe, CEO of SRA Information Technology accepted two awards for EnviroSys at the 2007 NT Research and Innovation Awards held in Darwin on May 10th.

This event showcased diverse areas of research and innovation being undertaken in the Northern Territory. Areas such as malaria research, tropical environments and ecological management, remote community education innovation, and even aircraft propeller coatings were included in the program.

SRA won the 2007 NT Minister for Business and Economic Development's Innovation Award, presented by the Minister Kon Vatskalis and the 2007 Chief Minister's Research and Innovation Award, presented by NT Chief Minister Clare Martin.


Asia Pacific ICT Awards

In November 2006 SRA received a Recognition Award for EnviroSys at the APICTA annual Awards Program in Macau, where it was up against competition from the 16 member countries of APICTA.


AIIA iAwards

SRA received two 2008 iAwards for EnviroSys from the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) in the Northern Territory.

SRA then went on to win at a national level where AIIA announcied in Melbourne on the 28th May the state finalists for the 2008 iAwards, recognising the most outstanding ICT innovators.

The first award was a category award for Applications & Infrastructure Tools which is presented to the most outstanding communication technologies or for ICT solutions that make creative use of communication technology.

The second award was the Research & Development Category which is awarded to the most outstanding ICT research and development project.
