Keeping Track of Toxins

The National Pollutant Inventory (NPI) collects, reviews, analyses and publishes emissions data for 93 toxic substances and the source and location of these emissions.  SRA designed and implemented the NPI Public Database providing a simple interface for public users and a mechanism for the technical community to access and request raw data for various purposes.

BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, and the world's largest supplier to the seaborne coking coal market.  BMA realised the need for a solution that could manage the extensive spectrum of environmental data across their operations and reduce data administration overload.  After an extensive search to locate a solution that was the most capable and would best fit with the business, BMA chose to implement SRA’s web-enabled environmental data management system, EnviroSystm.
